Is my phone usage healthy?

Sometimes, I don’t take off in my car and start my journey until I find a song or podcast to play. My toilet break might’ve only needed three or four minutes, but after a few scrolls, then a video or two I’ve been sitting there for 12.

Sometimes putting on a video to watch gets me through drudgery of washing dishes and hanging up washing. Putting on a YouTube video during lunch that might teach me about a historic battle, that mildly educates and entertains me. But is this taking away from my enjoyment of my meal? Is it impacting my mindfulness constantly being distracted? Constantly craving distractions?

When does phone a desire to be productive and become an addiction to being distracted? When does a phone go from a tool to a dopamine hit device? Is my phone useable healthy?
